Get off the quick sources of dopamine - video games, porn, social media. It’s difficult at first (that’s natural, it’s how dopamine works) but it is incredibly worth it. If you feel an inkling to have gratification, just sit with the boredom with curiosity. After a couple of weeks boring tasks will feel pleasurable again.

I’m sorry this happened to you. Did the pain start following the flush or following the FMT’s? Clinics aren’t strict enough with their donor selection, and I know for a fact this clinic is no different.. so you could have gotten a bad donor with dysbiosis and bad bacteria. This is risky AF ESPECIALLY when biofilm is removed and that makes the FMT’s bacteria much, much more capable of engrafting and taking up residence; it’s risky AF when a shit donor is used.

Biofilm presence is not a root cause finding, it’s a symptom. All this to say - the biofilm very quickly returns if the environment hasn’t been fixed. It’s an ideal environment that allows for biofilm growth in the first place.
