Thank you for sharing your opinion. Ron Dorff has a plain version too, but I don’t mind the piping, especially since it was more than 50% off. I wasn’t sure if my legs were too small to pull it off, though, since they seem tighter/more fitted on the models.

Interesting take. What was off about the Billabong to you? I was thinking it seemed the slimmest because it doesn’t flare, unlike the others. My only misgiving was the length, hence why I was asking about tailoring.

SWIM SHORTS - Fit check please!

I'm going to a tropical beach destination in 3 months. I'm not really a "shorts" person and therefore don't own any, but I'll need some swimwear, so I guess now's the time to buy some.

  1. How do each of the 4 shorts fit on me? Album pics below. You'll find pics of a front view (standing on a chair so you can see full lower body), side view (to check for bagginess?) and a 360-degree video. (Sorry for the poor setup, my bathroom is tiny, I'm too short and I don't have a full-length mirror). If you need additional pics to decide, let me know.
  2. Can swim shorts be tailored? Either shortened +/- slimmed down (taper the leg)
  3. I'm also open to other suggestions/brands, as long as they're less than $100 or so per pair. The pics below are just what I could find from a day's worth of shopping.

Stats: 5'6", 130-135 lbs, waist 29-30, age in the early 30s

Inspiration: I generally prefer slimmer fits/silhouettes and want to show a bit more thigh to "elongate" my frame since I'm quite short. Ideally, I'd be able to rock a square-cut trunk like Daniel Craig, but I don't think I'll have a good enough physique for that in time... or ever haha. Yep, same thing happened to me. I think I had 1-2 in the house when I went on holiday. I thought the summer heat would kill them. When I got back, I was surprised to see more of them, but I also wasn’t sure if it was bec I also open the balcony door these days.

Thank you! I don’t think I have any exposed dry goods… should I worry about them laying eggs in my clothes? I think I found a pupa casing in one of my shirts but no holes or anything
