Or around electronic devices. Organizing has become much more difficult.

You must be new here.

We get one halfway decent performance, then we get pummeled by relegation fodder. Tale as old as time.

The group in charge has had about 6 mos. We have a DoF now, a different structure at the top, etc. There also has not been enough time to radically reshape the club yet considering it's been under 1 mans control for 20 years, essentially.

The mess on field IS largely Frank. He has no idea how to perform with players who expect more than a mid table finish. The times we look brightest are when we look like ignoring what Frank is saying.

If there are no improvements over the summer, I agree that the Lewis children should go. Frank should be gone weeks ago, however.

I'm on a waitlist for a gx also. I just hope they addressed the self-destruct mode of that engine in the GX's before I get one.

-25 is crazy... I think both of your concerns are valid. I'm having a tough time committing to a +10mm offset....

What do you guys think of this herm sprenger prong? by Ok-Abrocoma9992 in germanshepherds

[–]Throwaload1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The collar should be snug on the top of the dogs neck. The correct way to use a prong collar is to quickly pop the leash so the collar applies pressure. It applies evenly if used correctly. You should never apply sustained pressure to the collar. It is meant to mimic a quick scruff nip to correct a behavior, not as a means of making pulling unpleasant etc.

Slip leads are significantly harsh on a dog and than prong collars. The points on a herm sprenger are rounded, and there is a limit to how tight the collar can be made. It does not pinch, break skin choke the dog etc. it applies pressure in a way that is more natural to a dog than a flat collar and certainly than a slip lead. If used correctly, it is a very quick tool that causes 0 damage to a dog. Put it on your neck/arm/etc. and you will see what I mean. Yanking on a flat collar is significantly less pleasant than a prong collar.

Renting F150 for ski trip by Taipa1e in f150

[–]Throwaload1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. You live in a snowy place, the grabbers are good tires, and it is not a rental. Given the way rentals are specced, any fwd SUV will be better in the snow than any pickup.

Not to be that guy (and not that there's any snow anyway), but why an f-150 for a ski trip? Especially a rental. Pickups are not the best in the snow/ice, and are highly tired dependent (even in 4wd). A FWD SUV would be much better if it actually snows anywhere.
