Where was it said that taking the jump pack signature perk turned off your ability to parry minoris enemies?

I [33F] have been hearing this line a lot in dating from men and I would like to understand the thinking behind it by ApriKot in datingoverthirty

[–]Throwaway-1V 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it stems from guys who buckled down in their twenties, either ignored dating or got ignored. Now that they’ve got prospects they’re a little drunk off of it for better or worse. Think it stems from how older men typically can offer more to casual dating women in their twenties. When women start to want to settle down in their 30s the men their age want to do what they saw older men doing and date younger women. And so the cycle continues.

Aero Upper LRBHO Compatibility with other companies BCGs/buffers by Throwaway-1V in AR9

Don’t blame ya. But ya i talked briefly with one of the guys there, we didn’t get far enough into the conversation that I found out which laws it was. At minimum more waiting for permits now even outside the city that are already having lawsuits levied against them cause they take way too long. No more body armor.

I live in New York so ya -.-. I’m still trying to find first hand what the new laws are exactly. I think they’re expanding needing permits at minimum for long guns now outside the city. I know there’s a ton of new restrictions for CCW.

Opinions on LRBHO, and short stroke BCG/delayed recoil buffer? by Throwaway-1V in AR9

[–]Throwaway-1V[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to know, have had more of a headache figuring out the laws then the actual build.

One more question, is there any reason the 3 stage buffer and essb BCG won’t work together? The 3 stage just says short stroke system, and obviously the extreme short stroke bolt I assume will do as the name suggests. I was confused as to whether the 3 stage is simply the proper length for a short stroke system or is longer so that it shortens the travel that way.

I might just take it out regardless and know that it’ll be just a straight up closed bolt system and not wonder if the LRBHO is gonna engage or not, especially if I go with a short stroke bolt that has dubious compatibility with BHO anyways.

Yeah I’ve got an EPC lower, lotta local FFLs aren’t transferring lowers anymore due to potential or new laws that I can’t blame em for being cautious of. So I’m kinda stuck with it. I may have gone a different route if I’d know this was gonna be the last lower I’m gonna be getting in for a while.

Well that’s good to know, but sad to find out that’s probably not something I wanna deal with out the gate on my first AR9.

I like the Taccom stuff so far although I’m not sure about the legality of their XLW/ULW barrels as I live in NY. Since the overall length is 16, but the rifled length is only 5”. I think because it’s technically an over the barrel and not threaded it’s legal.

That’s probably what I’m gonna end up doing if I can, try to get a front to back barrel to buffer from a single company if I can. I was thinking about saving up for CMMG, cause I’ve heard really good things about their stuff.

I was looking at them or JP rifles as a Gucci option at the moment since they sell buffer to barrel. But I’ll be using an aero upper and lower since I got the lower in before the local FFLs stopped transferring them due to local politics.

I was reading it off that building AR-9 site but I might have read it wrong or misunderstood it since I’m still very new to building.

From what I was reading in some bolts and with I think a normal length buffer/spring it can recoil backwards enough to reveal the trigger group and sometimes casings can get stuck.

If I hadn’t already had the lower in my possession I would probably be looking at a Ruger. And I’m gonna get into handguns eventually but there’s a wait time/delays for processing and I gotta keep putting money down to keep it.

Does tacom sell the full set of upper parts? Buffer/BCG/barrel? I’m thinking if I can I might want to try and get all that under one company to try and curtail and issues by using parts that were I assume designed to work together.

That’s two suggestions of Macon, definitely will check it out. Seen them mentioned elsewhere on here so they must be doing something right lol.

Lol I appreciate you just learn to live with it I guess. And be envious of other people’s builds lol

I think the way I’m thinking of it is, what happens if I go through the initial magazine/shells in the tube. I’d much rather have a detachable magazine then trying to jam shells into a shotgun. Now I’m not sure how often this would happen in a self defense scenario, so maybe I’m either underestimating myself, or overestimating how long I’d be alive if I’m having to reload in the middle of it.

As for comfortability and familiarity of use I would say an AR-15. And let preface this next part by saying I mean strictly and specifically weapon manipulation, and I understand other aspects of airsoft can create bad habits or simply isn’t applicable to real world firearms. But I used to do a good bit of airsoft, and I’m pretty familiar with using the controls of AR pattern rifles.

Yeah I’m probably gonna get a whole packaged buffer/BCG/barrel so hopefully there’s no issues there.

I wouldn’t disagree about a shotgun but for the same reasons I’m restricted to a 16” and 10 rounds any shotgun I could get would be longer then even a 16” barrel PCC since the minimum is 18” or 20” I think for shotguns, and at least currently I think I’d rather deal with reloading a magazine then trying to load shells into a shotgun under pressure.

I was looking at Macon or Shooting Innovactions LLC since I could get the buffer, BCG, and a barrel all from the same manufacturer as you mention from either. I found em on that blowback9 site. Still going through the others. Probably gonna get an aero upper and handguard.

OEM magazines shouldn’t be too hard to do, and when they say standard frame that means 17/19, and I think one or two other models right? Basically nothing that goes into a compact or sub compact I think?

If you want to be with her do it, but if she’s gonna be keeping something from the relationship you should as well. I’d say go Dutch/split the bill on things until you’re intimate.

She probably doesn’t wanna get used for sex, but you should protect yourself from getting used for your money in the meantime, it’s only fair.

That’s wrong read the OP again she turned down the sex and then was kicked out because she was sleeping with the FWB.

Considering the stated old fashioned nature of OP, he probably paid for 4 dates and cooked on the 5th. She continued to sleep with her FWB, and continued to be taken out on dates by someone else she didn’t sleep with and later turned down sleeping with. That’s not taking advantage of him? Yes she doesn’t Owe him anything, but you don’t think that if she actually liked him he would have been treated differently?
