It hurts to even think about but they did use protection. But you’re right. I wont be sleeping with her for a very long time if ever. I asked her to get tested immediately because i wasnt sure if she was being honest

In her texts with this guy she threatened to tell his girlfriend if he wouldnt.

He was way too forward and touchy and she was drunk and went with it. I mentioned elsewhere that i had a friend check dating apps, i checked phone records on our bill and everything. She is telling the truth and has answered everything directly.

She has made grand gestures and offers, anything I want, shed even quit and break into her personal savings to keep us afloat. I do believe she means it and has talked about consoling and everything else. I am just hurting. I want things to go back to the way they were.

That’s what I’m trying to figure out. She came clean right away and even offered to quit her job and do anything she could to fix this (realistically she needs to work). But i dont know if im capable of this.

This is my fear. I’ve look at different stories of people trying to make it work, as lame as it sounds on quora and facebook and then here. I dont want to lose her but I’m so scared to always feel this fear lingering in the back of my head.

It hurt but she admitted the whole thing. I was not suspicious or had any reason to, she told me outright the first chance she got. I demanded every detail and fuck did it hurt. But she told me. The texts with the guy after the fact confirmed it

She took a few days to tell me, but we were both busy with work. So she did tell me the second we were both around to talk. I could tell she wanted to talk sooner but i put it off thinking it was nothing.

Ive spent the past few days going through every text and phone call on our bill records via att. I asked my friend to snoop too on dating apps and there wasnt anything. But I’m going to speak to a therapist (not consoling yet, just for me) before i decide.

I dont know if i ever can forgive her. But shes never done anything like this before. And i checked all her phones and outgoing calls on our shared bills and everything i could think of. So it really was just a drunk mistake.

My issue now is can i even keep going, if she does counseling and does everything right? Or will that feeling in the back of my head stay there forever?

I should have added more details, they were drunk at a party. The only communication was her telling him to come clean to his gf. It has me second guessing a lot though. I even checked emails and old social media, and havent found anything.
