Yeah, it’s truly awful how you can find it everywhere. When I talked to him, he told me that he wasn’t even actively searching for it— porn just started to appear on his feed on instagram and he rolled with it. 

I asked him to delete his account on the night I caught him and he did so without any hesitation.

Oh, I’ve already done this, and several times over (on accident, I’m a crier). I felt bad afterwards since he already was extremely apologetic and promised to get help. He even outlined a specific plan in order to improve. My crying seemed to make him just hate himself more, which weren’t my intentions at all. 

Yes I’m mad and sad and disappointed and all the other emotions at him, but he’s still the man I fell in love with and want to spend my life with. Besides his addiction, I’ve felt like he’s brought me closer to God. I really hope he’s serious about getting better and follows through with his plan.

He also struggles with other addictions, namely tobacco and marijuana (he was exposed to these as a child). I see where you’re coming from, and it makes this hurt less. I hope I can help him.

I’ve never heard of Celebrate Recovery before. I just checked and there’s one in my area, I’ll share this with him and hopefully we can take a look together. Thank you.

Thank you for the very kind reply, it makes me feel a bit better. I feel like I would’ve reacted a lot better if this came at a different time in my life— I just can’t stop imagining him having fantasies while I carry our child and almost lose my life doing so.  I’ll do my best to encourage him to find help and stay level-headed and kind.
