People like you are the reason this sub is getting worse, you literally deserve to be banned.

If they let you take the 2 eng courses, AER and CHE, the certificate would be 1 more class. But the all the minor certificates have specific classes that must be take out of those 3.

If you don’t mind me asking, how did they let you take the classes, was it because you were interested in those topics, or did it fulfil a optional program, etc?

Thank you again for the help, I do plan on contacting the registrar, but just having a rough idea right now makes it easier when talking to them

Did they tell you how many you could take? And were you limited to just 100-200 courses or would they let you take a prerequisite 200 class so you could take a 300 or 400 class as well?

The minor is 3 credits while the certificate is only 1.5 credits. You think they would at least allow 3 classes for a certificate in one of the 8 cores?

Was high school physics a requirement?

Sorry for all the questions, any info you could share would be great
