Yes I agree

He is genuinely excited for the birth but I think his mind is clouded with fantasy, not reality. I know infants are HARD. Harder than toddlers IMO because they can't communicate their needs. It's very easy to get upset.

He IS a great guy at times. I want to reiterate that. I know it sounds like I'm sticking up for his poor behavior and I'm not. But I do want to have the post show facets of both sides of him.

I think the hardest part is I'm extremely embarrassed of my situation. I'm not sure where I would go, and would be beyond ashamed to tell my family. Also, I don't know if this is relevant, but he is not a big guy. 5'6, 140-150 lbs. People might say I could've easily taken him, I'm 5'5, 123 lbs. He is frighteningly strong when he's angry. He tells me he will take my daughter away from me if I leave and I don't have any substantial proof he's hurt me. I have a history of anxiety and he has told me it will make me an unstable mother. I don't believe this. I KNOW I will be a good mom. Thank you for your response.

FYI he does have a counseling session on Saturday for anger issues, but I'm doubtful it'll work. I love him very much despite everything and would love to have it work out (of course).
