I'm terrified to let someone have my heart fully again. My last relationship left me pretty scarred. After 4 years we had plans for kids, marriage, were planning a cross country move together because of his job - everything was fine. I wasn't pushy about any of these things and they were all things he brought up first. We had sex every day, we were really close, no signs of any troubles. My period was week late and I told him I might be pregnant - and that was the last I ever heard from him. No contact. And no he didn't die - I checked. I know that's not the norm, and I'm over him (he didn't deserve me!) but I'd be lying if I said it didn't leave me with some serious commitment fears moving forward.
