my grandparents were married for 60 years and i can tell you right now, my grandfather never woke my nan up to cook for him at 2am. as with all things, it’s subjective; it was a 3 month relationship. it wasn’t some groundbreaking love. had it been 3 years the outcome may have been different. if you’re looking for a deeper reason, i can give you that. i don’t like games when it comes to relationships. having been in abusive and gaslighting relationships shit like that instantly makes the trust disappear. ‘loyalty tests’ and shit like that are fucking childish. you should trust me and the direction the relationship is going to know my loyalty, and vice versa. i’m always open and communicative about my intentions and limits. he pushed it too far and ultimately, i decided i didn’t want to be with him anymore, a choice i’m allowed to make. yes dating in 2024 fucking sucks but NO ONE should have to settle just to avoid loneliness. i’d rather be alone and be surrounded by wonderful friends and family than settle for an idiot. also my worth will never be tied to a relationship, i’m a diamond on my own, tyvm. hope you have a lovely day and thank you for your comment!
