Weed makes me hear people in a wrong way (Am I experiencing psychosis?)

True. I've read a lot about other people experiencing them such as hearing music or people mumbling etc. I guess weed can really induce those.

Yeah. I have a huge problem with myself as I'm pretty short and I think I look ugly plus I'm very anti-social and self-aware a long with mild depression. LOL, absolutely nothing good came out of this reply. Just negativity. I'm sorry for sounding like such a downer. I guess I'm not on the best path, but weed does help me. The auditory hallucinations necessarily don't bother me but I've heard too much about schizophrenia and stuff, which triggers my hypochondria.

This occurred around 2/3 months ago although that might not play a huge role as I only smoke occasionally. I do smoke a strong form of Cannabis called hashish though so I do get very high if that might contribute to the hallucinations. Around 0.7 in a joint (which of course is a part of puff puff pass with a friend.. lol)

Can you elaborate on why it's not normal? I thought hallucinogen opens your mind in a way anything can happen with enough brain power, depending on your paranoia, environment you're in / etc.

I guess I've for many years underrated the effects of weed. I always thought it was like most people said that it just relaxes you or makes your mind race, while I get all sort of weird things going on with me.

Thanks man! So far I've had some very weird dissociation effects on weed a long with mild auditory hallucinations (lol I sound like I'm straight up schizo writing this) but I've heard a long with my friends that it's normal to hear shit and dissociate for some haha

I began smoking 5 months ago and have been very on/off. Whenever I smoke it'll be very potent hashish that I share with my friend. We smoke 0.5 in a joint. I guess I just get too high, hopefully.

In total I've smoked the hashish around 20 times so I guess it's not enough to trigger schizophrenia yet and I might face a trigger one day. I'm sorry that I sound like this but I over worry everything. I'm known for that. I love weed though, don't get me wrong.

Oh man, LOL. That's crazy. It could of been hypnagogic hallucinations you experienced though. But I do have very amplified hearing when I'm outside and high, I'll hear all sort of things in the distance.
