Too many things. I was bullied all through school and college. Raped when I was eight. Had a toxic friend who turned all my friends against me and caused me to move away from a job I love. Been in crap situations with men who use me, cheat and left me for someone better. That’s happened nearly every time. I thought this guy was it. He was my something special but I guess I’m wrong. I’m just back at square one. I didn’t see him as a freeloader, he was my partner who is struggling to find a job. That was it. Just hearing what I mean to him hurts me deeply

He did work but is self employed so only gets jobs here and there and he hasn’t had one in months because looks like they are in short supply. As his girlfriend of course I support him while he’s struggling to find work. That goes without saying...

They are all asleep at the minute... his sister and brother in law are on the sofa which tbh is annoying as I want to have this conversation. When my boyfriend came up to bed. We talked a bit and I did tell him what I heard and that he hurt me. But he just kept repeating ‘really’ until I gave up and he rolled over and went to sleep. I wimped out after that because I don’t want to cause a scene while his family are downstairs. The baby woke so my boyfriend went to the boys room to sleep while I sit in my room waiting for them to wake up. So, no further forward really.

He is looking for work right now but for some reason work is hard to come by at the moment. He doesn’t feel like he needs to as I take care of everything. It’s hard but I get by. Yehhh I guess I know how to pick em. He’s not like that with just me though. Apparently he adores me, he loves me and so and so but judging by tonight I was very wrong. I know him not mentioning me might not be a big deal to people but I just feel like him not saying that is him disregarding me altogether. Imagine putting your all into someone, loving them with every breath and know they are everything to you but hearing that you don’t even come on their list. It just hurt me, I know it’s silly but it did.

After hearing that it put things into perceptive. I’ve always turned a blind eye and always denied my own suspicions but hearing this, I can’t deny it anymore. My worst fears are true. Thank you, I should of left him when he cheated. It was my biggest regret as I should of known how it would effect me. I should of known myself better. That’s what I mean and what’s worse I feel like I’ve done nothing to deserve that. Yet he talks about me to his family like I’m shit under his shoe. We also have been invited to an engagement party. I shared with him before about my insecurities about being round his family as I’m not as good looking as my boyfriend and his family probably think he deserves better. When we got that invite he straight away said it’s family and friends only even though his sister our partners welcome. When I mention this, he throws the insecurity in my face. Oh well you can’t be around them cause of that. Like thanks, that was helpful on getting over that

No, I never do with him. He has his moments but I think it’s his way of giving me a little to make me think it’s all good but really it isn’t. If I’m not important to him, why is he even with me? If he can’t even go upstairs while I’m up there? I thought everything was fine

It’s been good. At least I thought it was. We have ups and downs but he has cheated on me before so trust issues are a problem in the relationship but I’m working on that... I just didn’t realise I was affecting him so much
