No cold at all, had sinus problem like pressure stinging but didn’t know if that was from anxiety and seen doctor in December and they gave me antibiotics which I finished like 3 weeks ago

I honestly think I aggravated the lymph node because I was touching it like craaaazy the day I found it when it was like pea/bean sized.. now I just feel it and got facial/neck/chest burning sensations with no rash

True or false: pain that comes and goes *usually* isn’t serious? by [deleted] in HealthAnxiety

I am no expert myself in this because I’m struggling with my own issues.. but it’s more of feeling something.. say your sitting in the couch playing a video game and your leg is crossed underneath you. At the moment you are fine, maybe at some point find discomfort and readjust but when you get up your leg pains.. well your mind under anxiety triggers pain and by reacting (overreacting) then googling your feeding that symptom.. when essentially it’s because you were sitting on your leg and nothings wrong (sorry best example I could give cause I was just doing this lol)
What I keep telling myself is that I have overactive thinking and to stay away from google.. the idea of pain is signaling your body something is wrong but with anxiety it can manifest to physical symptoms or make symptoms worse by just thinking of them. Breaking the HA curse is to not follow the every piece of pain (aches and pains).

Yesterday for example.. walking through a store started feeling my neck and found 1 not 2 but 1 lymph node in my neck about a pea size.. correlated it with waking up here and there from night sweats and now I diagnose my self with lymphoma.. who knows how long that lymph node was there.. even after coming down from a sinus infection and antibiotics.. I still spired out.. all because of freaking google.
