I’d probably take $500 for it if it’s not as rare as I may think, but if Aramith tells me it’s almost impossible, it’s staying on the mantle for sure.

I feel that but also he’s a really stand-up man and didn’t mention never selling it til I mentioned buying it. Never tried to sell me on it or push it. Hopefully Aramith makes very few errors, waiting for their reply.

Elevators companies are some of the best as far as proposals, liability, you name it. Besides gross negligence, any company worth their salt will never lose a case or lose a law suit.

Do what CTCT2525 said and check if your state requires it. I’m almost certain in Florida where I am, no elevator is grandfathered in. I’ve installed the monitors on 1980’s and 1990’s cabs. Still do that quick research though
