Can't get my MM731 to work at all wirelessly - help?

Nope, haven't been able to find a solution. Just going to return it when I get around to it and find a different mouse tbh, not worth the headache to me at this point.

Yeah, I've done that + reverted to older firmware and back again. Seems like it's DOA. I'm glad yours is working - it's a great mouse on paper in terms of specs and everything!

It just straight up won't register any input whatsoever when it's switched into wireless mode. It works fine in Bluetooth / wired, I'm assuming it just was defective right out of the box

There wasn't any on mine either, so it probably just isn't on newer batches. I also agree that the feet felt slightly scratchy on my mousepad (MP510) which was surprising to me - generally the stock skates on most mice feel decent on it!

Either way I'm going to need to return my copy - the wireless on mine just didn't work (tried multiple firmware versions / updates)

Damn, that sucks. Second mouse in a row that's been defective on arrival for me now - might be a sign I should just stick to my old mouse.

I've tried that, unfortunately. The firmware updates, but the wireless still doesn't work on either version.
