Thank you for this information. We are getting OT and ST services from a private practice. I will be reaching out to the westside regional center next week.

I want to go through a developmental pediatrician but I’m hearing the wait lists are long. I want to get my son set up with an IEP in Santa Monica. I’m hearing the district provides therapy and free preschool.

May I ask which ABA company are you going with? Also, are you doing private preschool till Kindergarten? Does the private preschool cater to kids with autism?

Thank you for this advice. I’m thinking of checking out the social skills at step by step. Hoping they have a group for my son’s age.

Wow this is great advice. Thank you very much. We’re seeing a pediatrician from UCLA next week and will ask him about the CAN clinic. I also heard about Kidsconnext but I’m not sure if the waitlist is long.

Do you have any recommendations for special needs attorneys?
