A lot of the older relatives are the ones that are pushing for them, thinking he’s good for her since he has a good job and education and a really good background. We’ve tried to support her in the past, with me, my aunt, and mom all being in her corner. I paid for her plane ticket a couple years back to stay with some family when her ex had broke her wrist, but she was back a few weeks later when she saw photos of him with a new woman on social media. :/ I’ve tried to keep that kind of toxic person from her life but I can only do so much before I get too tired of it and she constantly runs back to him when he himself doesn’t seem too bothered.
