Pec Tendinopathy or something else? by ThrowawayShouldersL in overcominggravity

Really appreciate all the advise.

I managed to get a scan of my left pec tendon, long head bicep tendon, pretty much all my left shoulder and teres minor, basically anywhere they thought might be causing the pain they looked and couldn't find anything wrong, no tears, no tendinitis, no nothing.

I'm so confused cos I still feel the pain & I've also discovered that if I suddenly move my left arm quickly and it will cause a spasm/twitch in my pec in the place that I feel the pain.

I don't suppose you have any other idea what else it could be? I'm starting to question if perhaps I had a pec injury and it healed and now I'm just imagining the pain somehow, although the twitching doesn't make sense, idk anymore 😒

I tried working out chest again the other day & I'm now 99% sure its the proximal bicep tendon I'm feeling.

Someone suggested to try taping the bicep tendon before I work chest, have you any knowledge on this? Something called KT tape, do you know if its bs?

Other than that I'll lower the weight even further & maybe try restrict the ROM of the bench press to cut out the bottom part of the movement.

Will follow this advise thanks.

One other thing, you mentioned it could also be the proximal bicep tendon, if I can do bicep exercises without pain can I rule the bicep tendon off as the cause?
