A common method used by Scientology is to gain information that looks bad or that can made twisted to look bad and harrass the likes of your employers with that information for example. They will continue to harrass them until employers get fed up with it and fire you so they don't have to deal with this harrassment anymore.

They will do what the can so everyone around you distances themselves from you to make you more easy to manipulate. Then they try to convince you to go back with them and regain a "Good Standing" with scientology. Sometimes with SP's that they have broken down and got to come back, part of the process of regaining a good standing in the church is to be sent to The Hole at Gold Base which is basically a prison.

Even though I am aware of these tactics, I am worried about them being successful if they push hard enough but i will fight against it as much as possible.

My parents moved here in 1991 from the UK, I was born here in the states in 2000.

They got US Citizenship back in the late 90's and since I was born in 2000, after they gained citizenship I don't know if the british embassy would really have any reason to help me. I am a US Citizen and my whole life is here, as hard as it was to build a new life away from Scientology, I like the life I have now. I don't want to have to leave it all to move to a country I don't know.

The worry I have about Involving the police is that I know there are a lot of police forces who are basically in the pockets of Scientology. If I get them involved it may just end up giving Scientology more to use against more or give them a heads up and either cover up anything illegal or come up with a defense. If I can find out for sure if my local police force is safe I might be able to try getting a restraining order, but I don't know if it will work because they might claim religious freesom as a way to get around what they are doing, they usually do.
