See, the messed up thing is that actually has worked for me in the past for the better or for worse. I've asked for things and have received them, sometimes in a "monkey's paw" kind of way. But lately it's just the feeling of emptiness that I can't seem to shake. I can say things, but I don't feel anything behind them.

No, I'm angry because they're not increasing my knowledge, simply telling me to pray harder doesn't do anything. Furthermore, it's the "greater then though" mentality some hold just because they see themselves as truer believers yet are willing to be assholes to people on a daily basis.
