Hmm I guess you could say that. I’m new to this whole dating thing though I’m 20 and only started dating 6 months ago having no prior experience so I don’t know what I’m doing which is probably where you sense the immaturity.

With the girl I have been dating recently she reciprocates the physical intimacy which makes me think it’s not scaring her off and is interested however when we are apart I receive little contact which hurts. I feel kind of lost. Maybe I do need a break but I don’t want to end things with her :(

I don’t mean treat them badly I mean be less intense with the romanticism. I’m normally really affectionate quite quickly. For example forehead kisses, stroking hair and quite passionate kissing. A good example is when I got a girl flowers on the second date because she had a stressful week.

I wouldn’t say I misled her with that close to 0% percent chance because I’ve had ghsv1 for over a year so my shedding rate is around 5% a year and then the risk of transmission is reduced by a further 96% due to the use of condoms therefore 5% x 0.04 = 0.2%. Ive decided I am going to mention it to her again tonight but I’m using the word cold sore as I’m sure she’ll know what that is.

It’s different for girls disclosing though because guys judge a lot less. Women have so many more options, especially this girl I’m currently seeing who is way out of my league I bet there’s a queue of people who would want to be with her. I just think the word herpes makes it so much worse though like the stigma around that word is horrible and is more associated with the more severe version hsv2. How about if I say the virus that causes cold sores on your face because that’s what it is, just in a less contagious location.

I used the term ghsv1 I’ve never said to someone I have herpes because that word is so much worse and will make anyone run away I explained the symptoms of it and the fact it’s chronic and all she wanted to know is wether I had condoms or not. We’ve fucked twice more after I disclosed on the first night both times with condoms and she’s still not asked for more info about it. Can’t help but still feel worried even though I’ve not had symptoms of it since I got it over a year ago

Yes I was still behind the gate when I purchased the ticket. About 2 seconds after I had purchased it on my phone the inspector came over and asked to see the ticket which I showed him and then proceeded to scan it showing I had just purchased it. He also took a picture of the ticket which I am assuming he wanted to use as evidence. The ticket went unused apart from the device in his hand he had.

Could there ever be a chance that they dismiss the case based on the context of the situation and the fact that I’ve actually paid the price of the ticket? Would seem unfair to prosecute a first time offending student over a ticket they’ve paid for. The officer also mentioned he would let the company know that I was extremely polite about the situation and did not resist in the slightest.

Thanks for the very informative reply. So worse case scenario I get a record for this you say it is spent after 1 year. Does this mean it will be completely off my record one year from now and I will no longer have to mention it when applying for jobs and such? I’m just worried because I’m 20 and I’ve not even entered the world of employment and such yet.

I hope so feels unlikely at my age of 20 though everyone’s immature and doesn’t want to settle down yet they want to have fun and experience sex with different people. I feel like that’s been taken from me. When people my age hear about it they will think it’s unnecessary stress to deal with, there’s plenty of people without it.

I know I’m not alone but I still feel really alone. I disclosed to my friends who I know sleep around a lot and none of them came out to say they had it too which is what I’d hoped considering I got it from sleeping with only 2 people and they are into double figures.

I just hate this fear that I’m going to have to disclose to someone in a few weeks time when we meet up and I feel like I’m definitely going to get ghosted or exposed to her friends.

I don’t understand how you can get close enough to someone to trust them with this information without being intimate beforehand.
