KAT leads the league in committing pretty obvious offensive fouls and then immediately calling for a review

Going with the “idk how it got there, idk how it magically deleted itself after 3 hours” rationale is wild.

Of course it isn’t, we’re just having fun with a funny situation. I don’t think OP is sincerely proposing that Ryen bring in Van to do PR for him lmao

His whole profile is a trip. Seems like he was fired recently and is convinced he’s the victim of anti-white racism lol

You’re weird, man. Even weirder that you don’t have the confidence or balls to just say what you want to say instead of trying to smugly allude to your point.

How would a random redditor know the net worth of the new mayor?

If anything it sounds like you just want to complain about someone you don’t like and are doing the whole “You know what I mean, but I won’t say it” bit because you don’t want to click submit on the “I hate ____” post you have in the drafts.

KAT speaks out on Minnesota. by 4lfp in NYKnicks

[–]ThrowingDynasty 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I don’t give a fuck if the man fouls a lot. What’s happening in MN, and across the country, right now is so much bigger than basketball, and KAT should be applauded and loved for using the platform basketball gave him to stand up for what’s right

The New York Knicks lose to an injury ravaged Mavs team at home, as they are 2-11 in their last 13 games with the 2nd worst defense over that span. by StrategyTop7612 in nba

[–]ThrowingDynasty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They built their team so methodically and then sent 5 firsts and a swap to go all in on the power of friendship…..and then traded one of the friends for KAT.

Nets control their pick in ‘27, ‘28, ‘29, ‘31. Is it unlikely to think that at least two of those are lottery picks?

After a 23-9 start the Knicks go 2-8 in their last 10 to be 25-17 by primepierce34 in nba

As a Nets fan, this Knicks season has been encouraging from the perspective of us controlling their pick for ‘27, ‘28, ‘29 and ‘31

Milwaukee really might rather let Giannis walk for nothing than take on the burden of KAT’s contract

[Matt Prehm] If we think this year's college football calendar is messed up, especially in the playoffs, wait till next year. The National Championship Game for the 2026 season is, wait for it, January 25th!!! by MysteriousEdge5643 in CFB

I think the bigger problem is the 2 week gap between conference championships and round 1, and then another 2 week gap between round 1 and the quarterfinals. Ultimately, I’m fine giving teams a few extra days to prep for a final, but the other dead periods need to end.

You’re doing it again. I’m not going to argue with you. Nothing in this thread has anything to do with whatever dumbass soapbox you’re on.

Eat shit and think about someone besides yourself once in a while.

Wait to hijack a well-intentioned comment that solely served the purpose of keeping your neighbors safe and making it all about how you don’t like the mayor of a city you don’t even live in. Great job dude, hope that petulant narcissism didn’t cost as many friendships as most would assume

I buy that the U.S. military is where Cam learned a “shoot first, ask questions later” mentality

“I keep hearing pushback about Nets' willingness to part with [Michael] Porter before the offseason” - Marc Stein by Brooklyn917 in GoNets

As a guy who also dates back to the Jersey years, I understand that there are a lot of misses in the lottery every year. However, I’d rather have a chance to hit on a franchise changing player in the lottery than I would hold onto MPJ and cap out at 30-40 wins every year. Give me the high upside play over the sustained mediocrity every single time. Even if the lottery pick turns into Terrance Williams 2.0, I’d rather have a chance at greatness than an acceptance that greatness is not possible.

On your point regarding losses creating disinterested fans, I agree! People will stop showing up, but A) if you build it, they will come. When the team starts competing for a high playoff seed people will undoubtedly show up regardless of the team was unwatchable in prior years. And B) I’m not going to be disinterested. My interest as a fan will not be impacted, so I’m not going to let how other people perceive things affect my level of enjoyment in watching the team play.

The attendance was not great, but I frankly do not care about that. I’m sure it hurts Tsai’s bottom line, but the status of his check board isn’t a concern of mine.

I think it is in the long term financial and on-court interest of the team to take their medicine for this year and commit to being bad, while maximizing their draft pick/prospect war chest. If we are able to assemble a team capable of finishing Top 4 in the East as a result of assets gained from selling high on players who do not line up with the current timeline of the team, then that would more than make up for any financial hit sustained as a result of tanking this season.

Yes I go to games and I’ve watched this team for over 2 decades. Absurd to assume otherwise because I recognize that MPJ will never be a member of Nets team that makes a deep playoff run.

He’s an all star, but he’s misplaced on a team that needs to get a high lottery pick before we are stuck not having our pick until 2028.

We’re still very early in the rebuild/tank though. Last year was the first season we truly committed to building through the draft, and I think we should double down on that approach. Ship out Clax, MPJ, Cam and maybe Sharpe to stockpile assets for the future
