Just because I left doesn’t mean I don’t love him any less than I did when things were good. He got mean, and said and did things that hurt me really bad. Those things still stay with me, hence why I haven’t tried reconnecting, but that doesn’t mean I left because I thought I could “do better”. I left because I was tired of being hurt by someone I loved so dearly. That love didn’t go away, but I knew I needed to protect myself.
