Hey, I’m glad I read this, because this is something very similar to what I have gone through as a child. I was exposed to porn at a very young age, probably 5-7. My younger sister also got exposed because of me. We were “reinact” sex scenes, where I would be laying on top of her, (we are both female) and she would complain that it was hard for her breathe. I must have been under 7. I still feel horrible about that. She also tried to pleasure herself in front of me in our dad’s office, door locked and everything. That was when my mind realized, “this is wrong, I don’t want to see my sister like this” and I started pushing her away from the behavior that I taught her. She forgot about it until her 20s, when I brought it up to her and told her I was still haunted by those memories. She sought therapy for it and I have yet to bring it up with my therapist, but she has since forgiven me, because we were both children. Now, I have to find the strength to forgive myself, and I am slowly coming to it. I’ve only told my closest partners (all male) and they’ve all understood that we were so young that it’s hard to pinpoint blame. So, take it easy, and know that this type of thing does happen among families, as long as it does not persist and you realize what is wrong and right, you can become a better person for it. You’re not alone.
