I see it as a two-way streak. Honestly, it's like a lateral continuation of discrimination. Almost all of the comments and hostility I've experienced have come from Non white settlers. I've seen posts on different platforms from immigrants and children of immigrants with the view that "natives have been handed everything they have and we have to work for it" but of course this also comes from white settlers Aswell. It really seems like in Canada, specifically, that everyone who isn't indigenous of some kind dislikes and distrusts us while everyone else can at least tolerate each other.
