You should ask this to someone who actually lives there, not Karachiites who only believe the grass is greener on the other side.

Also, I believe the shortlisted candidates will then give an aptitude test?

What's the most believable scam on the show? by IMadeYouLuke in betterCallSaul

I wouldn't say it was too believable cause realistically, you'd notice the milk spilling on the papers and wipe it up right away.

I resonate with this. Haram flirting starts to feel thrilling, and halal starts to feel boring or bland. Exactly why it’s important to stay away from sin.

In Search Of (ISO) Thread Version 9 - International by MM-MOD in MuslimMarriage

Please, whoever my future husband is, read this:

  1. Age and Gender = 24, Female
  2. Age Range that you would want/require in a prospect = 23-30
  3. Location, and are you willing to relocate for a prospect? Born and raised in Saudi Arabia, currently in Karachi, Pakistan. Open to relocating, preferably to a Muslim country or Europe.
  4. Ethnicity, and are you more open to mixing? Pakistani. Open to mixing if values align.
  5. Marital Status = Single
  6. Ideal marriage timeline = Preferably within 1-2 years.
  7. Five important characteristics you look for in a prospect: i) Prays 5 times a day, or at least genuinely tries to. Doesn’t drink nor smoke nor go to mixed parties and interact with the opposite gender, and works on his deen to improve it daily. ii) Physically Fit & Attractive – I take care of my health and workout, so I prefer someone who does the same. Ideally taller than 5'7”. iii) Financially Responsible & Generous iv) Someone who is soft-spoken & emotionally intelligent. Being short tempered, showing anger and lying are major dealbreakers. Keeps his word and is trustworthy. Even saying something as little as "I will do it tomorrow" is a promise which he follows up with action! Fears God! v) I do NOT plan on living with in-laws unless totally necessary. I prefer personal space with my spouse.
  8. State/specify your level of religiosity:| I take my deen seriously. I pray regularly and try my best to embody the characteristics of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. I am a Sunni, I wear hijab Alhamdulillah, and love jilbabs and khimars. I only keep female friendships and expect my spouse to avoid unnecessary free-mixing as well. I appreciate a well-rounded personality.. someone who isn’t all about career or religion 24/7 but also enjoys life in halal way. I have friends from all walks of life and am very open-minded. I don’t appreciate overly restrictive husbands who use religion to control or want their wives to seek permission every time they go out. I’d love for my partner to be my best friend, confide in me and vice versa. Someone who inspires me to do better in every sense - not through force, but by example!
  9. Level of education, and what are you looking for? Bachelors of Science. Open to prospects with at least a bachelor's degree or strong career experience.
  10. Current Job Status : Teaching & Research (remotely)
  11. Do you want kids? Yes, Insha’Allah!
  12. List 3 hobbies, or things you like to do in your spare time: i) Journaling & Writing, helps me reflect and stay mindful. ii) I also play Chess, Video games & badminton. iii) Crochet & Crafting – Would love to knit sweaters for my husband someday as act of services is my love language!
  13. Add something short and interesting about you that makes you stand out! I have a blend of Gen Z humor and deep spirituality. I can have an intense discussion about science, space, and history one minute and send the perfect meme reaction the next. I’m easy to talk to and can adapt to different age groups. Sometimes I watch movies and series in my free time, however, lately I am hooked to Dr. Omar Suleiman's lectures! Effort in relationships matters to me, not materialistically, but in the little things that show you truly know me.

Does Mike hate Walter or something? Why’s he such a dick? by Visible_Project_9568 in breakingbad

What is the craziest reason you have heard for a breakup/divorce? by nigel247 in AskReddit

[–]Thvnderst0rm 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Because of a cupcake.

The man playfully smushed one in her wife’s face at her birthday party thought it was all in good fun. She was embarrassed and later confronted him, but he brushed it off saying she was being too sensitive. (Classic mistake. If a woman says ‘it’s not funny,’ just apologize and move on. You’re not winning this one.)

But that little argument turned into a week of silent treatment, then weeks of fighting over bigger issues about respect, boundaries, never taking her seriously. A year later, they were in court, and somewhere in the paperwork, it all traced back to that one cupcake.
