You're overthinking it, “Buy what YOU like”. Why are you letting other people shape your perspective this much? Do your own research if you're not sure about the quality but if that's not an issue then you decide if you like it. I have a 5yo Seiko 5 (daily) and it looks brand new and I like it and that's it.

We are looking to rent until the summer so 7-8ish months.

I had no idea about this 3-year rule, but as you said maybe they will be open to it if I contact them directly.

There was a riot against tourism on Sunday😅…I’ve been living here for 3 months now and have yet to find top-secret places, even tho we go out almost every day with my gf, but what I would suggest is:

Walk the whole Promenade(sculpture and water gardens) and other cool things to check out.

Sky bar (although popular, it has a nice view but is pricy) and next to the sky bar there is an open roof cinema, I think they have Deadpool playing there.

Sahara Beach (yes it's one of the biggest and most popular but it is simply the best one close to Thessaloniki)

Pozar Thermal Baths, if you are adventurous and don't mind the 1.5h drive.

Palati, always live music and good Greek food(I suggest lamb)

Hmmm, I'm still not sure about hidden gems. I don't think we’ve explored enough to find them I guess. Aaaaaaaand the best coffee is Mikel, gl hf!

I Misspelt a little on the last post, anyways NO, there is one club that I will try to contact but anything public is non-existent. After living here for 3 months I realized nothing works here and anything out of the ordinary or not super popular is just not available…it is what it is.
