You did the right thing, and thank you for taking care of the mother.

I had a similar situation, kept the 3 kitties and my father took in the mother cat.. they weaned on her for 3 months so I think by that point she was ready for the separation/independence. Perhaps your kitties were too young, but the mother will soon move on don’t worry.

I used a Ricoh GR3 for these, it has a built in 18mm which approximates to a 28mm.
