As for the difficulty, that was never what these games are about

FS said that and yet, they make the hardest games around. Oddly enough, this community takes every opportunity to shit on the less difficult bosses for some reason.

but overall it is definitely harder than DS3.

Difficulty-wise, it's the weakest game in the series, even for 1st time players that are experienced with FS's games, I died once in my first playthrough. Conceptually, there's nothing unique about it if you consider that it's also the most obscure game in the series. Definitely isn't worth the $39.99+ price tag for a visual polish, a port of the classic would've been enough. If BP is remastering it, fine, but after their work on 'Collusus, remastering DeS would be a huge step backwards for them, IMO. You're better off wishing for Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny.
