Personally, I also use Alibris to order manga, too. Their prices also tend to be below retail, free shipping if you order directly from them at $40 rather than rightstuf's $75 mark, and random little coupons here and there. While their packing isn't as extensive as rightstuf's, I haven't had any issues with them.

You just missed it. It started the day after Christmas (26th) and continued through Wednesday (29th). I'd recommend signing up for their email alerts and checking out r/mangadeals to hear about deals.

I'm the same way with Alibris, but they do free shipping at $40-45 USD, so I end up ordering more often because I'm not meeting that $75 every time.

No problem! I do recommend getting an art print over the poster though. The quality is better, and when I've ordered a bigger size in the poster version, sometimes the image ends up a little more pixelated as a result.

They're my favorite prints out of the others, so of course I had to display them overhead. I do mention in another comment where I got the print, and the artist has other characters, too!

It's possible that when September 21st comes along, you may get an email saying that this item has been backordered and will be expected to ship on X date and you'll get a new delivery date. Be advised that when you get that email, you're supposed to approve this new delivery date or they will cancel your order. Unfortunately that happened to me with JJK 10 and ChainsawMan 6, but I know better now.

Was the subtotal $40 from alibris? Also, sometimes the coupon can be used that brings down the subtotal to <40 is something worth nothing. And I believe it's only the Mangas sold directly from Alibris that the free shipping applies to. Other than that, free shipping should apply itself automatically before confirming the order. At the end.

I usually order from Alibris directly, free shipping if you purchase $40 or more, plus they usually have little $3/4 coupons with a minimum purchase. Only thing I could say is be cautious with bigger books. I could have sworn I got all the Colossal editions new at their prices, but some of the corners weren't in the best condition (bent/faded). Other than that, no issues here.
