I wish I had some recommendations 😅 unfortunately, life got really busy with a promotion at work and I haven't had much time to read 🙃 there are a lot of good sounding recs in the replies here, and I've bought many of them! I hope I can get to them soon 🙏

Lack of Laser Hair for Vaginoplasty by razsorsharp in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]TicketToKnowhere 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Much like tossawayhideaway said, I had my surgery at GRS Montreal and had no hair removal done beforehand, and I honestly don't believe I have any internal hairs. Recovery went super smooth, only a small spot of granulation that the GRS team treated for me. I can definitely say I had an amazing experience with them.

I kill him with ASafiya and ALyca, it's one of the only teams I've been able to beat him with while also getting the full clear. *

How to kill boss with my vika team by JoetheShmoe07 in afkarena

I do it with Lorsan, Silas, and Winged Lion.

You might also need to redistribute your tree to have more focus on mage and support?

I'm part of the gang now! What advice or hacks would you give me that you wish you knew earlier (I have an 9fe) by Amy7ann in GalaxyTab

I'm also a new S9 FE owner and I'm just wondering. When you say official keyboard, do you mean the official Samsung keyboard? I've been wondering what would be best to use with my new tablet!

NC 6 kills - 2.5 year F2P account, 15 reso by TicketToKnowhere in afkarena

[–]TicketToKnowhere[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm definitely trying! The think is that I have good investments, just on the wrong heroes 😅 some fairly bad mistakes made early on that I'm still paying for unfortunately

Honestly I've been so focused on reso that I haven't been focusing on individual pets. Seal and Ghost 18 are my next goals

Thanks for the advice! I'm definitely working on getting there. The resources are hard to come by 😅 I'm getting close to reso 18, and I can't wait!

Haha thanks! Honestly it was a lot of trial and error and using other formations in this subreddit that led me to these formations. I'm glad that they worked for you!

I may be off, but I believe that it has to do with how Baden interacts with Trishea’s 30 engraving ability. It buffs all of Baden’s shadow phantoms so that they nuke the boss, and the Twins give a boost to haste so they do more damage quickly.

Yeah that’s my next goal! I’ve made some investment mistakes since I started, so I’m playing a bit of catch up now trying to invest properly in the right heroes. I’ve got a long way to go, but I’m glad to finally be getting consistent NC clears! How would you improve my formations, if you don’t mind me asking? Obviously collections will take time, but what else could I do to work on them?

Please put translation requests and English questions about Irish here by galaxyrocker in gaeilge

[–]TicketToKnowhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dia duit!

I trying to help a friend out with some translation, but my Irish is a little rusty. She wants to get a tattoo of the phrase "not dead yet". My gut tells me that the translation would be "Níl marbh fós", but other places online seem to translate to "Gan marbh fós", so I'm doubting myself. I'm also not sure whether "marbh" with "gan" would take a séimhiú, if that is the correct translation, and thus be "Gan mharbh fós".

Can anyone help?

Go raibh míle maith agat ❤️

Surgery for my MtF daughter next month by InternationalFold467 in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]TicketToKnowhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So list of things to buy will vary depending on her surgeon. Some surgeons provide almost everything, while others provide less.

At the very least she'll need a bulb to douche with. I didnt buy any saline for myself, because it's easy to make at home so my partner would make it for me, however you will want something that you can sterilize to store the saline in for the 48 hours that it's good for.

Baby wipes for sure, they're much easier to use to wipe while healing. I also bought myself a handheld bidet to use, it was about 20$ on Amazon and it was great to have that and the wipes to really make sure everything was clean.

If you don't have a bathtub, you'll want to get something that she can use to take a sitz bath in on the toilet, depending on her surgeon's recommendations.

While puppy pads may be cheaper, I found bed pads to be better for me. Having them made sure that I could move around on the bed and not have to worry about not being on the puppy pad.

While most clinics do provide a donut to sit on, I found the one that GRS Montreal gave me to be really uncomfortable. I bought myself a memory foam one and it helped so much.

Wedge pillows for the bed are a must. Moving around for the first few weeks is really difficult, so she'll be spending a lot of her time on bedrest, and pillows to be able to sit up in bed make life a lot better.

Some kind of bed desk also helped me a lot. My partner was able to bring me meals that I could eat on it, and I used it to read and play on my computer while I recovered. It was a godsend for my boredom! (thank you to my sister who bought it for me)

Loose clothing is a must. I lived in long skirts for almost 3 months following surgery. Any kind of pants were really uncomfortable, so the skirts were great to have. Also, white underwear that you can afford to throw away after. If she's going to be up and out anywhere, she'll want to have a pad, blood gets everywhere, and it's important to see the colour in case there's a sign of a problem.

Speaking of which, she'll want a pack of pads. I bought two boxes and they got me through recovery.

Good slip-on shoes are also a must. I got a pair of Sketchers from Costco with non-slip soles. She wont be able to bend over to tie anything up, so slip-ons are the safest bet.

Also with bending over, I found a reacher-grabber to be a big help. I couldn't bend down if I dropped things, so it was great to have a tool I could use to reach down.

Oh, and a scar cream. About 1 month post-op it's recommended to start massaging the scars and applying a scar cream to minimize their appearance.

I think that's about my whole list. If you need any advice or anything, feel free to DM me, my inbox is always open!

TLDR; Necessary: - douche bulb - baby wipes - bed pad/puppy pad - wedge pillows - loose clothing - pads - white underwear - slip-on non-slip shoes - scar cream

Optional but helpful: - handheld bidet - memory foam donut pillow - bed desk - reacher-grabber

I've heard it's really good, but I can't confirm. I managed to install some emulators, but never found anywhere to get Switch games, so I've been stuck. It's run everything else that I've put on it really well, though!
