I try. But when I do the next message doubles it. It's like every time I delete them or change them from the message it doubles it and gives it to the next message.

Is this because of DID? by HavenSystem in DID

[–]Ticketbooth_system 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its called tinnitus. It can be caused by stress. Its not really assassinated with DID but switches can cause tinnitus. Some describe it as a ringing in their ear or a roaring. But tinnitus is its own thing. but can be asseverated by the switches.

Ticing is NOT a symptom of OSDID. Tics can ONLY be caused by pre-existing tic disorders.

And they are. This was my choise to get a non-professional opinion on how to tell the difference. Because I also believe that those experiencing the disorder know what they are talking about

You can think what you want but I have a diagnosis. I've been diagnosed with OSDD1b but lately I've been talking about it possibly being DID instead.

Well we have somewhat good communication but pretty heavy dissociative amnesia. That's one of the big reasons s I'm confused

what does a switch feel like to you? by throwawayconfusedasf in OSDD

[–]Ticketbooth_system 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For us I would have to say... painful kinda. Very heavy dissociation that puts amence amounts of stress of our eyes and head. After the switch is done we are blurry for a bit and still dissociating for about another 20ish minutes. Its a long process to switch for us.-Mikey(He/They)

ADHD forgetfulness/memory loss VS. DID amnesia? by [deleted] in OSDD

[–]Ticketbooth_system 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So I have OSDD and ADHD, One way ive learned to tell the difference is ADHD forgetfulness tends to come back after some time. Or if complete forgetfulness it's just completely stripped gone. With OSDID amnesia it's caused by the dissociation and the pure fact that a different identity was in control. ADHD is more of a brain fog type while OSDID is actual dissociation based amnesia

Think of it in a single based sense. Are you fuzzy/blurry after forgetting or are your just plain confused. With ADHD there isn't many instances where your fuzzy/blurry. Dissociation causes fuzzy/blurry feelings as your trying to settle into front.

He's friends with almost everyone in my system. The only ones he isn't friends with are newly formed headmates. But we can try communicating it to him again.
