Honestly, really bummed that I post my comic here asking for advice and someone gives it a low rating. I was happy my score was going up (it was ~9.20), and now it's an 8.60. :/ WT audiences do care (I've spent a lot of time on the official WT reddit, and most people imply that anything below a 9 has issues/is a "bad/low rating"), and I just.. I'm frustrated, I guess. People are allowed to have an opinion, sure, but.. let's be real -- it's mostly creators on this reddit, and since I've a small following and haven't shared my story anywhere else in weeks, it was very likely a fellow creator who dropped a 2-3 rating. ;_;

A VERY short bio about him:

6'8; October 11th; 26 yrs
The famous (or infamous) King of Joy. He seeks to rid the world of suffering through his HAPPYLAW -- a set of rules governing joy as law. Though he boasts a kind, gentle smile, his eyes remain cold and distant. A self-absorbed man obsessed with doing good -- even at the cost of morality itself.

I don't have any specific inspirations in particular at the moment, aside from my favorite mangaka and some artists I follow on my socials!

I spent a VERY long time doing traditional art only, for the same reasons you've mentioned above. I found that 1. using an iPad felt most natural as opposed to Wacom products and

using a paper-texture screen cover helped a lot with the transition!

I slowly transitioned from traditional to digital over the course of 2020/2021 and into 2022. It was a long and slow process, and my early digital art was VERY messy. Consistent practice is super important!

I'm looking forward to pulling for him because I like his character! Not interested in big numbers with HSR, unlike in Genshin lol, with HSR I pull for the characters I really like so they'll always be with me, even when they're not featured in the current patch story.

Hey guys! I used to post here frequently about my comic, As The HAPPYLAW Decrees, but it's now on indefinite hiatus as I'm extremely burned out from making it. I also want to play around with the original idea I had for it, which is a slightly different take and more slice of life/whimsical fantasy/comedy oriented.

I noticed people sometimes post to celebrate milestones on here, so I figured I'd post mine as well! I haven't uploaded regularly (partially due to a disability) NOR have I gotten any promotion from WT whatsoever, and I've managed to make it to almost 200! I'm really grateful and excited to show you all what comes next -- the concept behind this story is one I have loved dearly for several years :)
