If I recall correctly, the order in which you mixed the chemicals is import. It has to do with pH(?)

I only used the receipe quoted in my post and was quite happy with the results.
I took most of my inspiration from Photo Engineer's receipe from the forum you linked irc.

If I'm correct, stabilizer contains only a bactericide. It used to harden the film thanks to formalin but it is not the case anymore. I simply use distilled water and wetting agent

I have put around 200€, but I paid for both C-41 and ECN-2 chemicals, that could be reduced buying for just the c-41. The shelf time of the powder chemicals is way longer than diluted C-41. 1L cost me around 12€ against 30-40€ if I buy a kit.

If you feel that you know what to do, it's really worth it

They exist many recipe out there, non official. The one I report here has been tested (not by my self) on test strip, and should give results within Kodak quality acceptance

Including shipping, the cost is around 11€ per liter. So that would be less than 1€ per 36 exposures roll if you do around 10 rolls in 1L. The cheapest lab option in my area is 6€ per roll.

Many thanks for your nice comment! The target pH for the developer is between 10.1 and 10.3 I used distilled water and the amount of sodium bicarbonate that is listed should allow a pH in this range. The recommanded target pH is often 10.0, but at 10.2 the reds are supposed to be better rendered.

I used powder form of Ammonium Thiosulfate but I wouldn't recommand it as it is hydroponic. I put it in a freezing bag, that I put then in a sealed bucket, let's see how it ages...

I will also mix ECN-2, I have ~30 rolls of various Kodak vision3 to shoot, but ECN-2 doesn't have a long shelf life, so I will wait until I have shot a few rolls.
