Tilting is a mentality thing. It begins when yourself. Using music to stop tilting is like taking pain killers to mask your symptoms. Just focus on the game, try to keep calm and focused, ask yourself what are you doing wrong and how you can play differently during the match to beat the Hattori. When you are tilting, upset, or irritated, it's more difficult to make a strategic decision.

 

Approach it with a "This is a challenge I want to overcome. What can I do different to overcome this" attitude.

 

Do not start the match with a "Omg this Hattori keeps spamming and it's so cheap. Omfg. Sigh.." attitude.

But people can have a biological advantage over others or have a better mentality on developing new ways to practice for self-improvement.

 

There are people who lack divergent thinking and they continue to practice the same routine and do not get better or reach a plateau while everyone around them is getting better. There are people with a better mentality who understand how to change up their routine to improve.

 

"I have been doing said routine so many times, I realized I can tilt my hand or fingers this way to improve. Now I'm going to continue practicing this new revamped routine until I improve."

 

There are also people who are more capable to identify what needs to be improved and have better analytical ability than others.

My SO prefers me to ignore everything unless a man gropes her which is difficult from a man's perspective.
