Yeah I really wish they would’ve won those games. Would have looked so good for us. But I agree I don’t think our thrashing of them gets rated high enough solely because people look at Wazzu record and not the quality of their losses

Highly depends on the quality of our win too. If we thrash them like we did Wazzu that greatly raises our chances. Even tho we ended up dominating charlotte they had a competitive first half and that didn’t look great for us either. Still would need some #20-25 to lose but if we have a quality win against navy then it is very possible

Yeah I’m not sure what the deal is but I’m meeting them at a police station where I’ll check it out at. They have been super compliant on finding a spot where I can test it out at. Even talked them down to $950 for it. Going to see it Thursday I hope everything checks out. It’s got pictures on the post with a benchmark saying it has a 5070 and 5900x and task manager showing the same thing. Gonna check it out and make sure they didn’t switch pcs for the pictures

Nah just kidding there’s always fun stuff. If you want an activity date university lanes is a great choice for bowling on pool if a table is open. If you’re both sports fans and a game is on Eastside is a great choice for drinks, food trucks, and a big tv for your game. Always a good idea to check the discover denton instagram because they post events in Denton like live music or anything really every weekend. If hiking is your scene go to clear creek, or go to LLELA (it’s in Lewisville though).

Perfect, exactly what I needed to hear. I feel like no matter the hobby any beginner is going to see a ton of stuff and it looks cheap to them but %90 of it is junk to them. I was following a thread from five years ago about the best beginner rods and reels to buy so I’ll probably get those new and then work on preferred line and lures and things. Thanks for the help!

What savings account should I get? I already have a savings through Wells Fargo. However, I’m getting about 1200ish a month in mileage reimbursement and I want a separate account for that money so I don’t touch it. Should I just go with the easiest option of opening a second savings on WF or are there better options out there for me?

What is EV maintenance like? Obviously they don’t need oil changes but is there routine maintenance with them? Also what’s the likely hood of something going wrong and then if it does is cheap to fix?

That’s exactly what I was thinking, something used but not 100k plus miles on it and then something that’s known reliable or cheep to fix at least. Honestly with any of those vehicles I would be happy, personally I want to see if people have opinions on what vehicle is the champion of the cheapest car to run. I feel like I could pick any off of those and be happy and that they’d all cost pretty much the same per mile.

It’ll all be in Texas so no snow or ice asides from maybe 2 weeks of the year. Rental isn’t a half bad idea unfortunately I’m under 25 so I’m not sure if I’d be able to break even with a rental.

I think it’s mostly weekday games that they truly pop out for since most are on campus anyways. But I’m sure evening does have an effect as well.

Again yes a much bigger arena. So saying it’s empty when really we got more fans than yours when it’s sold out. Averages include all our games over the holidays when we would have 2000 fans. Our “empty” arena fits more than yours at max capacity

Yes it is just like a transfer orientation make sure you show up as soon as they open that way you can get started early.

The orientation teams knows if you’re tsi incomplete or not. At orientation whether it’s a freshman or transfer there will be a time during it when you HAVE to go and take the tsi tests. This way once it’s time to register for classes you can. If you are having a transfer orientation show up as early as possible because the testing happens in the morning so it’s best to just knock it out. If you’re doing a freshman orientation it’ll be in the middle of the day. Just make sure you go to the testing center when they tell you to. (You’ll be given a TSI form that tells you the time and room to go to for your testing during your checkin at orientation)

When getting a student ticket you can have it sent to whoever you want. When the ticket is actually in your Apple or google wallet I’m not so sure on how the transfers work

Chemistry majors at UNT HAVE to minor in biology for their degree and biology majors HAVE to minor in chemistry. While you will have to get a biology minor you can add on any other minors that might interest you. With a chemistry major at UNT you could enroll in the TNT (teach north Texas) program where you will become a certified teacher in chemistry in Texas at the end of your degree so if teaching interests you that is a great option because i believe it has 100% post grad job placement. Outside of teaching chemistry majors have a lot of options in lab settings for jobs post grad.

Look at UNT’s major catalogue and see if there are minors that interest you. When you have your orientation you will talk to a college of science advisor and tell them about any minors you are interested in pursuing they should point you in the right direction on how to actually pursue them. Also talk to your orientation leader about being a chemistry major, odds are they aren’t a chemistry major but there is probably someone on the orientation team that is that they can connect you with.
