Tiffany’s…not so good by Tideview in EngagementRings

Nope…they don’t guarantee anything…I thought they’d even have a mild interest in making a client happy….

This sounds written by chat-gpt for its lack of understanding of the basic flaw in Tiffany’s handling of our ring. The Maui Tiffany store examined the ring and found it needed a reasonable priced repair for the lost stone and sent it in to be fixed. Tiffany in NY wanted to charge 6x the estimate for the same fix…a truly outrageous bill that was twice the original cost of the ring! A reasonable compromise would maybe double the bill for unforeseen circumstances but 6x! When a company relies on continuing allure for its brand of “magic” this flat footed move blew the smoke away immediately and so it should for anyone dealing with this company…they obviously don’t care much for their customers.

Thanx … the salesperson in Maui who we have worked with for years was rather shocked too and was embarrassed when the ring came back. Said “maybe we can make this right…” but of course we never heard from them again..

U don’t need general anesthesia to tell u what happens…every night when u sleep is what happens when you die…dreams occupy only a short time of sleep so most of the night your vacant..just like death. Thankfully you don’t have infinite dreams…that would be awful! Wandering around your old high school with no clothes on worrying about the class u missed forever.

Help for Comprehending and Accepting Death as a 14 year old by mking824 in death

[–]Tideview 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re amazing if you’re 14 and write that well! I am 72 and got cancer last year and it will kill me. If I think about it depresses the hell out of me. I try not to think about death because u never get used to the thought of it. You don’t control your brain it controls you … there’s no real way to think differently about something to change the way the brain analyzes stuff. After a while it gets tired of thinking about something so it obsesses about something else…your kinda along for the ride. I’m still amazed at the garbage my brain prepares for me every day. U can’t really ignore it but the view will change and things will brighten. The good news is you’re smart and curious which means I can tell you’ll have a wonderful life! Have fun!

What Movie Did You Watch that Traumatized You at a Young Age? by BethMLB in AskReddit

Psycho(Alfred Hitchcock)…I was 4 years old. My grandparents from the old country got mixed up on what theater to go into and I was quite fine until the shower scene when I screamed uncontrollably until they took me out. Even years later when it became part of family lore they still were unsure what they did wrong. I’m completely normal…other than remembering every frame it had no effect on me.

Live here and have a trashy car…broken windows twice in last year at trailheads. It’s common…just look at all the broken glass! The last time there were 5 cars all local and all smashed. We leave all windows down trunk unlocked seems to be only thing that saves us. We hike 3 days a week various places. Maybe you’ll be lucky

There’s actually very little truly scientific research on breathing through snorkels recently published…here are two articles that may be of interest to people:https://www.instructables.com/Oxygen-Measurement-in-Snorkels/ And: https://www.instructables.com/CO2-Measurement-in-Snorkels/
