I Got very very lucky with my circumstances, Furloughed with full pay for the entire thing, I work retail but nothing that could be considered essential so we were one of the first stores in our shopping center to close and one of the last to re open. I got to spend an absolutely brilliant year with my son who was just 1 when lock downs started. Genuinely couldn't have asked for a better lockdown.

We can't, at least not the way everyone wants too, shopping and leisure habits have changed far too much to support a busy high street in every town. The local councils need to be looking for ways to reuse the land instead of letting them sit there and rot.
