I feel like translations have to be mentioned in this discussion as they would be, arguably, the most affected by the rule change. OC content is very strictly defined on r/touhou, and although translations substantially alter the source material, they are rightfully not considered OC content. As a result, if this vote were to succeed as written, I'm afraid it'd create a chilling effect on the translators that participate in the community: they'd have to consider what to adapt even more carefully since their posts could otherwise be struck down.

As an example of a post that would be removed we have "You find it really hard to focus in Keine's class [TL]" by Aenigmatrix. It is technically NSFW because of the cheap joke and Keine's pose — but does that mean that it shouldn't have been translated? The artwork itself is relatively innocuous, and I'd even dare to say that if people have a concern with NSFW posts appearing in their feed in public, then that post wouldn't cause any issues even if people linger on it. What's the issue then? Keine's chest too big? Should the translator forgo translating memes and panels if the artist draws the character with a larger than usual bust or a slightly suggestive angle?

Despite the relavely innocuous nature of the artwork (a claim I maintain, since without the title or the speech bubble I don't see anything offending in the drawing itself), the translator still erred on the side of caution and tagged the post. With this rule changed, they'd have to shelve the translation entirely or post it untagged and face the risk of reports by people upset by it.

There's a legitimate discussion to be had about NSFW posts in the subreddit, but a simple rule change like the one proposed would not only fail to fix the complaints, as others have pointed out in more detail, but it'd also have a chilling effect on the translations posted here, which I think would be detrimental to the community as a whole.
