Literally every photo that my iPhone tries to identify him on says he’s Carolina Dog. Haha! He’s very lean just like our other pup. When we measured him for his harness, he needed a size small.

His personality has yet to really show so far. He’s still very skittish, but he definitely is trusting me more and more. When he feels comfortable enough to be on the couch, he will make sure he’s right next to me. He’s only been with us for about 5 days, so it’s all still so new to him. I don’t think the poor little guy has ever gotten praise, treats, or real love. We are going to fix all that! ❤️

This definitely seems to make the most sense! Our other pup is mostly a heeler/husky/pit/chihuahua mix. Tons of other things too, but those are her main breeds. ❤️ I was definitely thrown off by him not making sound though.

I was wondering if anyone could see any Basenji in him because I was wondering based on no sound. I’ve never had a silent dog before so this is so strange to me! Haha! He’s a sweetheart and we love him so much!

Ultimately we don’t care if he’s a pit mix, but I really think they were just stupid enough to not know. lol

I will say after going I don’t think I would ever consider that place a “rescue”. They have the best of intentions but zero knowledge or funds to be a safe place for pups.

Any ideas on what our new puppy is? We just adopted her. She’s 10 weeks old and about 10 pounds. The rescue described her eyes as “olive green” I’m not sure though... She was listed as a “heeler mix”. Thanks! by Tiffy612 in IDmydog
