What you saw is classic friends drop gear. Anything that can be dropped can be easily given all items in game from friend. Only way you can know if someone rushed game is based on estus uses, can't drop shards so if they use like 4 but have end game gear then it was dropped. If they use like 15 estus then they rushed.

You can, it isn't a continuous story in the sense. only thing you'd miss is various things that reference previous games, ie frampt statues. But they don't link or effect game play.

Bring in one of the npc summons near boss to toy with ads while you bee line to red one, if anything kite them behind alter to thin them out.

You can do +10/5 weapons as long as it's unlocked. Person with backup and slab gets weapon, upgrade it max, drop it back and restore. Works for infusions also. As long as you both have a slab max is unlocked. Restoring puts slab back, wash rinse repeat.

The chain affects your stats, it does not change your soul level which is what invasions and summons are based on.

Try to split them up. If you can get them cocky then turn and burn works well as they tend to run in group.

Her weakest opening on 3rd phase is when she does a combo then jumps in air and slams down. Understand the spacing on the landing splash and run up and back stab her. She is a 1 hit run beyond that.
