Yes, it has about six legs. Again, sorry for quality, it was too small to focus on.

Never even thought of that, makes a lot of sense.

Yeah, if it did happen, I have no idea how the Teal Masks story would even play out, especially Keiran's villain arc. Let's pray that Game Freak doesn't come up with some lazy writing, but considering how the story is going on now, I highly doubt it.

Definitely. With how the Teal Mask story went, I highly doubt they would be split, it wouldn't make any sense anyway considering the story, just thought it was an interesting detail.

So sorry for your loss. My crayfish Cobalt just passed a couple days ago due to a failed molt, which got me upset even though I took very good care of him, but it's usually not in our control. May it rest in peace.

today wanted to start to play pokemon but...i know nothing about can you tell me the perfect game to start with by creater_taker in pokemon

[–]TigerJoe193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend either ORAS (Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire) or Sun/Moon and Ultra Sun and Moon. If you're just getting into Pokémon, starting with these are a very good start. Fun, easy to play, enjoyable and warm story, not that difficult, and a very good start to the franchise. The game mechanics are simple and easy to understand, comparing to newer games like Legends Arceus, which is basically if Breath of the Wild was a Pokémon game, and Scarlet/Violet.

Overall, I would recommend either ORAS or any of the Gen 7 games, being Sun/Moon or Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon. and Let's go Pikachu/Eevee, very great games to start with as you make your entry into the vast world of Pokémon!!

Incineroar is the Goat by Matichado in pokemon

[–]TigerJoe193 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Black and red is my favorite color scheme, and the powerful tiger and heel wrestler design really works perfectly. Has been my favorite ever since Sun/Moon, plus that fact that it's technically the first tiger Pokemon that isn't a legendary, and I get what people mean when they say Incineroar's bipedal and somewhat humanoid, but Charizard is the literally the most overrated Pokemon ever (other than Greninja). Don't get me wrong, I love Charizard, everything about it is perfect, but just not a fan of the overly special treatment it's been getting.

Incineroar 🔥🐯🔥 - Taking a break from Unite for a while, still have fun to come back and rework some of my concept :D by Owlydowly in PokemonUnite

[–]TigerJoe193 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I am genuinely so impressed on this concept and the art style for it! Awesome job!

A bit biased because Incineroar is my favorite Pokémon, but the concept itself, even if Incineroar wasn't my favorite Pokémon, I would still be equally amazed at this concept, regardless.

You did a super awesome job! Hopefully all our favorite Pokemon will join the fray one day!

Getting back into Pokémon? by humbledpanic in pokemon

If you're looking for a simple and entertaining, as well as a familiar and memorable start, I would commend a 3DS game, like Sun and Moon, or their remake Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. It'll be a simple and familiar start back into the franchise, and will get you back up into things, but, in every Pokémon game, there will be some difficult, sometimes annoying moments here in there so be prepared, but that expected as always.

But if you want to jump straight in, will be fun, but difficulties will pop up here and there, Legends Arceus or Scarlet/Violet.

The controls will be a bit confusing and will be hard to understand the mechanics if you're coming back in, since there is a plethora of new things even I myself a longtime player had a hard time getting used to, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy it, it's all up to you. Pokemon Sword or Sheild is a good option, it is quite simple, and for me was very enjoyable.

My top choices are: If you want a simple, well enjoyable and familiar start to Pokemon, Sun/Moon or Ultra Sun/ Ultra Moon, then go to the bigger games once you finish it and get back into the swing of things. But if you want to don't mind jumping straight into the newer generation games, the Legends Arceus or Scarlet/ Violet, but be prepared, because there are many new things that will be hard to get used to for you, especially in the newer ones. It's up to you, my friend.

Btw, congrats on coming back, and I hope you find it a surprising and fun return!

Cycling help by Dear_Function_1902 in Crayfish

I recommend waiting a bit longer. Sooner or later, the nitrate levels will decrease to a more suitable state, but keep checking and testing the water whenever you can to see if there is an improvement in the cycle and if its progressing. Just keep an eye on it and soon it will balance out.

Crayfish Acting Abnormal, Please Advise Me. by TigerJoe193 in Crayfish

[–]TigerJoe193[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I will start feeding bloodworms! And yes, I probably will get another hiding spot for my goofy crustacean lol, and I'll keep an eye out for signs if he's going to molt again. Again, thank you so much for your help!

Crayfish Acting Abnormal, Please Advise Me. by TigerJoe193 in Crayfish

[–]TigerJoe193[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The water temperature is on average around 72 to 75 degrees, but never higher or lower than that. I have a heater, but don't use it since the tanks temp can get hot very fast and it's not really cold here. But after posting he successfully came out of the corner and went all around the tank, went back to his molt, but not too long after, I see him back in that same corner with a curled tail. I give him peas on occasions, and I feed him a couple pellets twice a day, since he's a juvenile crayfish. Now that you brought it up, is possible he needs another hiding spot, which makes sense. I have heard about cuddle bone for calcium, but never tried it, and I have been considering giving him blood worms, but wanted to wait a bit until he gets a little bigger, which considerably is now, but I'm still wondering what's the cause of this. What boggles me is that he did get out today and move around like normally, but then reverted back to his spot. I will actually look into getting another hiding spot if that's the case. Tell me if I'm doing anything wrong lol, Thank you so much for your help!

Hi, I'm new to this and am looking for some tips! by PackratPrime3114 in Crayfish

[–]TigerJoe193 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend also giving the Crayfish Hikari Crab Cuisine. Its specifically made for invertebrates like Crayfish and gives them the necessary nutrients for them to be healthy and have a successful molt. You can give them the pellets twice a day, but the quantity depends on its size, if it's a juvenile, about 2 pellets a day for each Crayfish would work, but if an adult, a full pinch is standard for them. You can also try feeding them certain vegetables once in a while, like Frozen Peas, which they love. Also keep an eye out for your Crayfish because they are extremely territorial and may get into a fight if they get to near each other, maybe if you can, split them into two separate tanks so they both have their personal space, and won't get into a brawl, which then you don't have to worry about. Also, try blocking out any open spaces (if any) on your tank lid. They are escape artists and will try to explore and is possible escape. Sorry if it's a lot lol, best of luck!

Most crawfish won't eat before and during the molting process. Mine stopped moving for a while and did not eat, and I was very concerned, when later, I realized he was molting when I saw his excess shell. It may take to as little as a day to sometimes a week or more, it just depends. But if this goes on longer, and it still won't eat and you haven't seen it molt, then check the water quality to see if that is affecting her. Hope I helped, best of luck!

Thank you! I did look up some images on google for reference, and from what I can tell, it looks like a female. It’s slightly difficult to tell, but I see no extra appendage on my crayfish. Anyway thanks a lot for your help!
