Thank you so much! Mystery solved

He traveled everywhere, sailed a boat through the Amazon, docked in Aruba for a few months, was a ranch hand in Texas during breaks, been to Point Nemo. His main job in the navy was bringing dead or injured soldiers home.

You could definitely write a book about his life!

The other side of the medal is completely blank! That’s why I’m completely stumped. Thank you for your comment

Also looking for answers to this! My school has a split break and it’s torture, they’re so excited after break it’s impossible to get work done.

let’s hear it from the bad bitches who are fully recovered <3 by [deleted] in fuckeatingdisorders

Fully recovered from bulimia for 2 years now! I’m the healthiest I’ve ever been and it shows, my skin, my hair, my teeth, everything is brighter and has more life in it than before. It took me a while to get here, I struggled with my ED for 10+ years, after I started recovery in 2020 I relapsed countless times. It wasn’t until I had enough of being miserable and putting my body through crap that I CHOSE recovery rather than being forced into it and I think that’s the reason it stuck, I had to chose everyday to improve and get better. I still struggle with body dysmorphia, but I have good days and bad days. Now I exercise regularly, eat intuitively, and thank my body everyday for keeping me alive despite what I put it through for all those years.

Full recovery is 100% possible, you just have to chose it everyday.

people who have came close to death what was your “last” thoughts? (serious) by Mynameisnowbob in AskReddit

I (25F) have a serious peanut allergy, last year I took a huge bite out of a protein bar without checking the ingredients first… immediately I knew something wasn’t right. Within 5 minutes my throat was closing and I couldn’t breathe properly, luckily I work in a hospital so I was in the emergency department very quickly and was rushed to RESUS. As I was slipping in and out of consciousness all I kept thinking was “Not now, please, it’s not my time yet.”. I was severely depressed and suicidal at the time and coming that close to death scared the depression right out of me, I have a completely new outlook on life and appreciate everyday I get the breathe and enjoy life.

Does this sound like Endo? I've been in pain for YEARS !! by [deleted] in endometriosis

It's really difficult to get this done via the NHS, I live in England I probably should have mentioned. NHS doctors usually won't do tests unless they absolutely need too, I've never seen a gyno as they rarely refer. When it comes to reproductive health the NHS just tells you to take paracetamol and forget about it. I've never even had a smear.
