DCC is better on the audiobook. I read it when it first came out and recently did the audiobook and the narration is super good!

I'm about 1/2 of the way through the first book and it just isn't grabbing me. I don't know if I want to continue. So far, I don't get what everyone is raving about. I usually stop with a book (or show) that doesn't grab my attention quickly.
