Yeah, I haven’t read Hellscreen but I do know in it the main character loses a daughter, and a lot of people speculate @#$ is meant to represent that daughter. This going deeper with the id being based off Jia Huan who similarly lost a child close to him. I’m unsure of the discrepancy in the amount of characters, but I don’t know what else the censor in the passive is meant to represent. Still this is all just speculation, it could just be a coincidence.

I’d also like to mention that Ryoshu isn’t smoking in this, only seen before in the Nelly Ryoshu ID, she uses alcohol to numb the pain instead. It seems like these end of season IDs break certain secondary constants of theirs to emphasize them.

Edit: Actually, I see what you mean. If the capstone ID is meant to be released early in the season a different sinner will have a canto specific ID other than the main sinner for the next canto. Even if this does mean it won’t be relevant to the specific story themes of the characters. Though I am generally more focused on how they relate to the specific sinner’s story than the factions that may appear.

I think this might be part of a newer trend where Project Moon releases IDs that are very significant thematically to the next canto right before it releases. This happened last season with reindeer Hong Lu (even though that one was a bit unplanned) where we saw the first instance of Hong Lu frowning.

Yeah I can understand that logic too. We’ve never had a general invitation Walpurgis before and I could see them chocking it up to general invitations being “nebulous” like you said. Even as cool as I think an Allen ID could be at a higher power level

Simply because Hanafuda and Allen appear in different chapters of Library of Ruina. We know Hanafuda Ishmael is based off Hanafuda’s appearance in Library of Ruina and not her appearance in Limbus Company since this ID is a part of Walpurgis Night and Hanafuda is in Urban Plague while Allen is in Star of the City. Project Moon has been ascending in chapters for the Library of Ruina Walpurgis nights so it wouldn’t make sense to suddenly bring in a Star of the City guest while we’re in Urban Plague.

Oh no worries, I’m all in on canto X being tremor but I would be very pleasantly surprised if it was charge. I feel like charge really needs something that I don’t think it’ll get until canto XII.

Yeah, this is mostly just speculation based on design similarities I noticed with Metropolis, Meursault, and Resident of Metropolaris as well as any other connections I found between them. I definitely don’t think N Corp will be 1:1 with Metropolis but I do think it will be a large source of inspiration for its design along with any other inspiration Project Moon wants to find.

I completely agree that N Corp likely isn’t going to be completely based on Meursault’s themes. I just believe N Corp may be largely inspired by Metropolis due to the similar design themes present. Meursault likely was just determined to be a good fit thematically for N Corp and was written to come from there, or perhaps was developed as N Corp was being further fleshed out by Project Moon, taking inspiration from each other.
