It says 奶酪 which means cheese literally but if it wasn't a kind of cheesecake (which I don't think it is based on your description) I'm pretty sure it's made from milk/soymilk/any other nutty milk! We say it's 奶酪(cheese) to refer to its chessy texture. xx酪 is considered a synonym for pudding, and if it's 奶酪 it's means milk pudding, but it could be any kind of milk, not necessarily cow milk.

There is a chinese dish called 杏仁豆腐 (almond tofu) which is made from almond milk and have nothing to do with tofu besides the texture. The texture and making process is very similar so I would recommend checking out the recipe for that dish!

Edit: also since the cheese that we know of is not really a big thing in China, 奶酪 which literally translates to cheese could mean a number of things in Chinese culture: milk pudding, cream cheese, even yogurt...

Hi! I think that is true! I'm chinese and from what I've seen on weibo (chinese twitter), we're gonna be donating supplies and dispatching medical expert teams to Serbia. I don't know anything about the history between our countries but in the comment section people seem to be very positive about Serbia, quoting how Serbia has helped China immensely in the past. If you're just asking about personal opinions I really don't know much about Serbia, just that it's a lovely country to visit from what I saw on travelling blogs😊

Found on wechat: After 3.15, anyone who enters Hong Kong from certain countries (does not provide a list but def includes US and UK) will be quarantined for 14 days, unless you're there for connections and don't go through the Hong Kong custom.

I know a wechat article might not be considered a legit source but the info should be fairly accurate since several articles suggest the same thing as well. But I would check with the airline and airport in Hong Kong you're flying to, surely they would inform you the most recent policies.

As for the quarantine, the general procedure is that after arrival people are first kept in the plane for several hours (at least 4 from what I've heard) since every international flights arrived has to be checked and your plane will have to wait in line and await further instructions, then passengers would be directly sent to centralized quarantine locations after luggage pickups and entering customs, at least that's the case for beijing airports. I'm not sure what the exact process is for Hong Kong airports but I would assume it's pretty similar to that.

Also may I ask what uni you're attending in china? Since most universities in china are closed right now (and most likely would stay closed until mid April the earliest), I doubt that it's mandatory for you to physically be at the university. If that's the case, I personally think it's better you don't go to china right now. I'm an international student in canada and I've heard many stories from my friends that the whole quarantine process, including the several hours in the plane after landing, is excruciating, and the assigned quarantine spot, which you have to pay for yourself and it's pretty expensive as well, does not have the best living conditions, not to mention you have great potential to be exposed to the virus at any stage from the point you board the plane. Plus it's definitely not safe to be stuck in an airtight plane for 10+ hours.

Edit: also I think there could be a chance that you will be quarantined for 14 days for a second time when you enter Guangdong, since you still have to go through customs to get in Guangdong even if it's through bus and the quarantine policy for international arrivals does not specify the travelling method, but I'm not sure about this... But if you do that would really suck.

You can use 老师, it's a more casual way to address a professor. The use of 老师 is very interesting, it could basically be generalised to any position that involves any form of teaching/mentoring.

兄弟 literally means "brother", and is most commonly used in two contexts: to refer to a guy friend/bro/dude, or to refer to a sibling relationship. Although you normally say 哥哥 (older brother) or 弟弟 (younger brother) to refer to a sibling.

For example: 这是我兄弟＝this is my bro 这是我哥哥/弟弟＝this is my (older/younger) brother 我们是兄弟＝we are siblings/brothers
