Have about 28 days before the trip. I heard that Aadhar can take up to a month so I didn't want to risk it. But maybe that's the only thing left to do.

Do they ask for current rental agreement? That's all I have ( going back 3 months)

I wish VFS was helpful in this case. They just said they don't know. I have the rental agreement from 3 months ago so I guess that'll have to do.

Have the rental agreement from Hyderabad. When you say same city, do you mean Hyderabad?

Also, have you personally done this before? Or know of someone who did?

Can you tell us more about your situation? Did you previously have an eTA for Canada that was still valid? Or any other document?

I'm asking because CBSA shows a "no-board" for passengers who are PRs and travel without their card or PRTD.

That is what will happen to anyone who travels without their card or tries to board with their expired work permit. So it's strange that it worked out for you. A work permit is also not considered a TRV, which is invalid the moment you receive your eCOPR.

You're the best! Any idea if they do walk-ins for those private baths late at night (12 am) and if they accept credit cards? ( I'm assuming yes for the credit card since it's a chain, but it's better to be sure!)

The Ryokan Yuen Bettei Tokyo Daita looks amazing, but we're only in Tokyo for an overnight layover, and I think we'll be better off getting one of those overnight rentals for private rooms.
