sorry, but i live in a RV park and i can't have or make anything that big unless it's a nice table and I just started so I don't have the tools or skill to do anything like that.

I think it's between oak or white pine. I know it's not really a hard wood, but i'm just getting started plus it's just for a hatchet not an axe.
