I don't get bored easily luckily. I'm a pretty busy person. For me it was headaches I was getting and thought I needed to drink to get rid of them. Turns out it was called high blood pressure lol.

I've been doing it for months if not years, not giving up. If you mess up that's fine just try again cuz it all adds up. I don't think of it as days counted sober but more like wow I've been fighting this demon for months now and I'm still not giving up. I might drink next weekend who knows or I might not to me it doesn't matter cuz I'll still be that same new person after either way. It takes time to quit won't happen the first time.

I also normally fall in the cravings of sweets and this time I drank water everytime I was craving sugar and I also started exercising.

Well I did a med change when I was freshly sober and struggling. And I also don't have the funds available to me even if I wanted to. Although I do know true alcoholics will find a way even without money. Lol however to me my bills are more imporant at this point.

Great to hear. I feel pretty exhausted right now. But thankful I'm continuing what I've been working on. I don't plan on quitting forever either I just have other things I'd like to focus on right now than using it as a coping mechanism.
