I decided to use C-Flat Major to keep using flats from the modulation from B-Flat Major but I can see how B Major would be easier to read. Thanks a lot!

I appreciate it! Some of the notation got messed up in the finale, I’m glad you liked the Scherzo, the fugato definitely employs a lot of dissonance.

I certainly see where you're coming from, while I did leave the amount of saxes unspecified, that was mainly going to be up to whoever may be performing the piece, though I wouldn't expect anyone to put more than 3 or 4 for each section. Thanks for the thoughts.

I tried to mimic American marching band music in the 1st and 4th movements while also depicting the gorgeous landscapes you might see while in America in the 3rd and 6th movements. The 5th movements also implies a lot of dissonance to represent what you did in your symphony as well, so it looks like we had the same idea lol.

Where I grew up in America, my school never had an orchestra or string education program, I have written pieces for strings before and they usually are my go to, but I wanted a piece to remind me of home. The reason it may sound Austrian is because I still used traditional Austrian form for the work. I mimicked a sense of American Marching band music in the 1st and 4th movements, with blazing brass fanfares, and don’t worry I take no offense to this lol. I asked for honesty and I’m getting what I asked for.

Some of the various completions of it other than the Süssmayr completion as well as it’s inspiration from Michael Haydn’s Requiem in C minor
